Steve lives and travels in the U.S.A. Originally from the northwest of England, he emigrated twenty-five years ago to attend graduate school at B.Y.U. in Provo, Utah. Steve earned a Dual-Honors degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in History and American Studies with a minor in Religious Studies. He was awarded an M.A. in History at B.Y.U. Steve is an experienced researcher and taught at the university level. Steve also coached and taught in charitable training programs in Utah and Arizona, including many years protecting and advocating for children fighting against child abuse. Steve is the father of three beautiful daughters and four amazing grandchildren. He now resides in Southern Utah due to Covid-19.

A supporter of the minimalism movement, an enthusiastic genealogist, and a lover of art and music. An avid reader and a fan of George Orwell. Steve is sixty-two years old. He spent the first thirty years of his life living in the secular world. He then spent the next thirty years living a disciple-like life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After forced retirement due to a severe medical issue, Steve spent some years in serious reflection. The outcome resulted in a change emotionally and spiritually. He would now consider himself a free-thinking humanist. Steve is a lifelong learner, both academically and as an autodidact.
